At the core of every great business is a burning desire to bring value to its customers. Since the day we opened our doors to the public, we at Barristers Title have tried to embody this principle.
We employ this everyday: from the way we answer the phone (we do not believe in an automated phone directory), to our very short turnaround times, to the fact that our title counsel is easily accessible. Our tagline has long been “A Helping Hand.”
If you are a current customer, we thank you. If you have never worked with us before, we would love the opportunity to show you what we’re all about.
Noah Webster
Branch Manager & Title Counsel
Noah Webster has defined himself as a “dirt lawyer.” He is one of the first generations of his family that did not choose to farm for a living. His family has farmed in Illinois since the 1830’s. Noah’s family moved to Georgia when he was very young, and while still spending summers on the farm, grew up a southern boy, attending Cobb County public schools. A great public school system, to which he attributes a lot of his success and desire to learn. His Mom was a school teacher and regularly encouraged challenging oneself to do hard things, to make oneself learn, and appreciate learning something new every day. “My mom made it important that you always strive to have a job, so I’ve basically been working since I was a kid. Not saying they were all good jobs, or that I didn’t screw up from time-to-time, haha.”
Noah attended Clemson University, where he was a member of the pre-law society and played Rugby. After being full-time in the automotive industry for a few years, he accepted a scholarship offer to attend Charlotte School of Law, at which time (1L excepted), he was employed with other law firms, Lexis Nexis, etc., often working close to 40 hours a week while going to school full-time.
Noah is licensed to practice law in North and South Carolina and has spent almost 10 years in the real estate legal practice, handling all manner of commercial, residential, large-tract, development, complex lending transactions, general business, and specialized title and/or land suitability transactional needs. His experience also extends to contractual dispute, title dispute, and a wide range of litigation matters.
While not working, he enjoys spending time with his family - wife, Lauren, and two daughters, Stevie and Ruby. Noah really enjoys Clemson athletics and spending time outdoors, particularly in Burke Co. North Carolina, near the Linville Gorge and Lake James areas. Previously, an avid volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and The Charlotte Men’s Shelter; Noah is looking forward to getting back to volunteering as his children get a little older.
